Q: How do I Quickly Browse for Items on Reserve?
Last Updated: Sep 03, 2020     Views: 10

1) From the library's homepage, click on "Course Reserves" within the Find Materials drop-down menu:

2.)  On the next page, click on BROWSE to view all items currently on Reserve:

3.)  From here you can use the fields at the top of the page to narrow down your results.  Search by Title, Author, Course Name, or Instructor (or a combination of these):

4.)  Click on the item you're looking for.  You'll need to logon with your network information (if this is your first time visiting the Course Reserves, you'll have to fill out a brief form.  Please see How do I Find Course Reserves? for more information on how to login).

5.)  After finding your item and logging in, the next page will display details about your item on Reserve:

Item details include availability (whether or not someone has the book checked out), and loan period (items on Reserve generally circulate for a period of 3 hours and cannot leave the library).  Some professors will extend loans to a 1-day or 3-day period- these items may leave the library.  Each item has a sticker placed on the cover with the following information:

6.) Stop by the Circulation Desk to request the physical items on Reserve.  Remember to bring your OneCard to check out items.
